According to Sky News Gary Glitter says, "I have an incomplete album that I want to finish. I have been thinking about the plan during my days in jail. I have sung rock n roll for 40 years. After jail I will rock'n'roll."

I would really love to see the first date on his comeback tour. It will run like this:

Thumping music and lights. The strains of the start of Glitters biggest hit start to rise.

From the back of the stage a small figure emerges triumphant from a cloud of smoke.

The spots light up and the figure is revealed to be wearing a white catsuit with platinum accessories and shoulderpads torn from the sides of a jumbo jet.

Gary Glitter (for it is he): "I'm the leade......"

Everything else is drowned out buy the sound of 10,000 water bottles full of, lets be honest, piss hitting the stage.

Glitter: "Glub glub".

I wouldn't book for the second night of the tour.......
